Hello, my name is Michael DuMaine. 

I started writing stories a very long time ago.  I was a child with a very active imagination, and I have always been able to put myself into other people's shoes.  I grew up in a somewhat peculiar situation.  My dad was a prison minister, and we visited many people - kids and adults.

I used to visit adult jails, and juvenile facilities with him.  I have heard many stories, and read several news articles on children who have gotten themselves into serious trouble with the law.  I myself have been in trouble a time or two, and have alot of first hand knowledge of these events.  This story is a fictional account based on a true story...

My first book, "Chronicles of a Child Criminal", was published by Publish America in October of 2011.  I hope that it will serve as an educational guide for people who want to understand the mind of children who choose to break the law.  I also hope that it serves as an exciting form of entertainment.

My book is based on true events, but it is a work of fiction.  The situations I have created are based on what I heard from convicts - and experienced from my own misdeeds.  Some crimes are described in graphic detail which may be upsetting and disturbing to some readers...
